Reportedly, China mainland has developed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Taiwan on the cooperation in the LED,led panel solar energy, and flat panel industries.

According to the MOU, both sides will work toghether to set up industrial standards for these three emerging industries, which will serve as the foundation for future industrial cooperation.
